Jahmal is kind; the give-you-the-shirt-off-of-his-back type of kind. But also one of a kind. There is definitely not another, J out here. He is a deep thinker. He has the ability to see far beyond what’s right in front of him and explain it in layman’s terms… sometimes even via rap. Jahmal is bold. He would probably say he takes calculated risks but you can never calculate how someone will react to discomfort and boy, does Jahmal love to get people out of their comfort zones. Jahmal is romantic. Effort > Materialism. If he cares for you, you’ll never question it. He takes “above and beyond” and adds Buzz Lightyear to it! And he’d get that reference because he’s also incredibly playful. You should see him with kids; it will make your heart melt. But most of all, Jahmal is a walking, talking, healthy dose of reality and we could all use a lot more of that.
